Video Editing

Amd recently has released some great CPU with high cores and low prices. About 305$ you can get an editing beast with 8 cores @3.7 GHz. This cpu will be enough to edit smoothly. There are more expensive cpu and higher cores or higher frequencies but to be honest we don't need real time exporting. You can have a break and drink a coffee while exporting your video. Memory is important. Lower the size the more time it takes to do task. I recommend 16GB DDR4. (2400Mhz or more is great also). That amount will make switching between applications easier and faster. So right now we spent 305 dollars for cpu and 150 for memory (RAM). Sum is 455 $. Lets suppose you are upgrading your system so you have some hard drives and some ssd maybe. I love SSDs for system and as a drive for footages. For the system Samsung EVO 970 will do a great job for 90$ ( Sata m.2 250GB @Read speed up to 3400 MB/s). Compressing a HD or Full HD Video to DVD is sometimes boring and impossible. Softwares like Nero won't allow you to convert video to DVD 4.7 GB unless its a SD Video file. So the best way to do this is using Cyberlink Power Director. Get  here trial . Once you have downloaded it lets start. After entering in Full Feature Editor import a Full HD Video and add it in timeline. Now you have to click on Create Disc If you like you can set up or remove menu. Then go to 2D disk and if your video is long more that 65 min select Smart Fit instead of HQ Best quality. !!!! DONT SELECT SMART FIT IF YOU VIDEO IS SHORT BECAUSE IT WILL SHOW BLOCKS!!! Now just click on burn in 2D.

Lot of people think your car is a free taxi (lol) and lot of others think your camera gear is like their phone,  and lastly they think a shutter click is like a mouse click that doesnt cost anything.  Well when buying a mouse actually it comes with a number of clicks. So to start lets look at how much are your costs.  You have a camera and lets suppose you got it as gift. But you have to buy lenses.  I'm not talking about people with one cheap lens.  If you are a pro your gear is made of lots lenses, batteries,  memory cards.  So you will pay for a memory card,  of you shoot video your card should be safe and fast, and to be safer you have to replace memory cards regulary.  Till now we added some camera gear.  What about editing computer?
